
Ever heard of Oreo March Madness?
The staff will be sampling different Oreos each day and will vote to determine the 4 teams in the semi finals and the overall champion the month of March!
You can play at home with your kids to make your own predictions of the ultimate Oreo Flavor winner.
In the competition for the first round is:
Bracket 1: Birthday Cake vs Peanut Butter
Bracket 2: Golden Oreo vs Toffee Crunch
Bracket 3:Mega Stuff vs Lemon Cream
Bracket 4:Caramel Coconut vs. Mint Cream
The winner of each one of the brackets will then go against the following:
Bracket 1: Dark Chocolate
Bracket 2: Chocolate Cream
Bracket 3: Java Chip
Bracket 4: Double Stuff
The 2 favorite flavors will then battle for the title of
Oreo March Madness Champion!

Just a reminder. The Spring Book Fair starts Tuesday!!


March 4-8 is National School Breakfast Week. We will have new breakfast menu items each day. There will be daily lucky ticket prize winners for students who eat a school breakfast!


An annual review and evaluation of Title I.A, Title II.A., and Title IV.A programs is scheduled for Monday, March 4th at 1:30p.m. in the middle school classroom. District parents, community members, and community stakeholders are welcome to attend.

Spring Book Fair is coming up!


Parents/Guardians: Wednesday, February 7th is Global School Play Day and we are participating. This note is being sent home with your child today and will need to be signed and returned if you allow them to bring a toy to school that day. Please call the school or message your child's teacher if you have any questions.


In honor of the Super Bowl on February 11th, we are having a Super Bowl Spirit Week. Although we don't have school on Monday, the Eagle kids can dress up in the theme if they choose.


The Westview Archers traveled to Carl Junction for their first tournament of the year. The Bullseye Team shot a school record 2678 which was good enough for 10th place. The following middle school shooters have qualified for the state tournament: Joanna Francisco 234, Landon Wilson 267, Jayden Olds 259, Keegyn Colville 249, Leela Slates 247, Tanner Deal 243, Keegan McGinnis 239, Aiden Wilson 231 and Chad Farmer 233. Elementary 3D shot 779 and got 4th place. High Scorers for elementary were Brooklyn Redden 171 and Tobias Zimmerman 161. Middle School 3D shot a 1352 and got 6th place. High scorers for middle school were: Aiden Wilson 251, Jayden Olds 245, Keegyn Colville 243, Chad Farmer 227, Landon Wilson 225, and Tanner Deal 222. Great job Eagles! Their next tournament is this Saturday at Carthage.


Due to the continued weather and road conditions, Westview will be out on Wednesday, January 17th. We will be utilizing our 3rd virtual (AMI Day).


Due to the extreme windchills and road conditions, we will utilize our 2nd AMI day on Tuesday, January 16th. Please follow your snow day packet directions.

12 Days of Christmas starts this Thursday. There will be weekly drawings (for prizes) for all who participate!


Good Evening Westview Families!
This is just a reminder of important fun events coming up in the next couple of days.
The Family Reading Night event is TOMORROW from 5:30-7 pm. The concession doors will open at 5:30 and families will have fun activities to complete with their child, snacks, prizes, and books! We can't wait to see you there! (The activities will take about 45 min. to complete so make sure you are here in plenty of time!)
There will be NO EAGLE on Thursday so that the staff can set up for this fun event.
Friday, your child can wear their favorite school-appropriate PJs and participate in our read-in event.
Friday there is NO EAGLE so that our staff can begin to enjoy Thanksgiving break with their families. EAGLE will start again on Monday, November 27th.
School will resume on Tuesday, November 28th.
