Bull Riding Reward- The Conservation/ Agriculture class students had the opportunity to ride on a pedal-powered mechanical bull made by Mr. Enslow. It was a fun, rodeo experience that every class member enjoyed as well as several staff members. Rodeo activities are one of several events that agriculture students can participate in. This is a fun and safe way for students to gain the experience. Not to mention, the students enjoyed seeing classmates and teachers fall off long before the full 8 seconds!

Mr. Enslow's 8th grade science students worked on a buoyancy project to complete their school year. Students were required to build a cardboard boat for two passengers using only cardboard and duct tape. They were also required to calculate the density by measuring the volume of the boat and the mass of the passengers in order to locate the depth of the water on the side of their boat. Most of the boats were accurate at the water to plus or minus one inch. Some varied because the passengers were not well balanced in the boat. Most of the students didn’t have a lot of confidence in their boats although a majority of them stayed a float! The project was a great learning experience and fun for everyone including the bystanders!
